To mark International Year of Biodiversity 2010, Conservation Services (creators of school wildlife gardens as recommended by Paddy Madden) in conjunction with Notice Nature, are running a "Biodiversity in our School" competition where 5 schools throughout Ireland will win an outdoor classroom , "An Seomra Glass". The outdoor classrooms are made from beautiful and long-lasting Larch timber and comprise a large outdoor blackboard, large low-level nature table, u-shaped bench area to seat a full class, birdbox with webcam and bug box.
