Fingal County Council contracted Conservation Services to design, construct and install a 270-metre heavy-duty pressure-treated sleeper sand ladder on Portrane beach in Fingal.
This walkway will help formalise access to the beach and help protect the vulnerable dune by restricting access to the beach to 2 designated access points.
