Volunteer Working Holidays

Conservation Services provides a Community Leadership service to organisations interested in carrying out conservation work with community groups and volunteers.

Volunteers Dry Stone Walling

During the spring and summer months Conservation Services leads residential conservation projects  - working holidays. Volunteer projects are designed for specific environmental tasks that otherwise could not be undertaken because of the cost of the labour involved. For anyone interested in the environment and the outdoors, this is a great way to help out, meet new people, learn new skills and  have a great working holiday.

Accommodation is provided to volunteers free of charge as are insurance, tools, training and safety talk, although there is a small admin charge. Transport to the location is usually up to you but see individual projects for details.

Check out the list of upcoming volunteer residential projects Conservation Services is leading.
Potential volunteers can trackj events on Facebook on

Email us if you are interested or if you would like to be kept informed of future working holdidays.
