Wildlife Gardens and Outdoor Classrooms

Conservation Services has constructed many wildlife gardens and dozens of Outdoor Classrooms (Or "An Seomra Glass")  in school gardens around Ireland. In addition Andy Booth has been a judge in the School Garden section of the Meath Pride of Place competition for 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.

Veggie Patch

With fresh new ideas and cost-effective options we can construct

  • nature ponds
  • habitat boxes
  • nature tables
  • sensory gardens
  • butterfly gardens
  • recycled timber compost bins
  • nature musical instruments
  • outside black boards.
  • park benches and table

With all this you are sure to attract wildlife to you garden, your school and increase environmental knowledge and understandings of the workings of nature.

Outdoor Classrooms

Ideal for school gardens, an outdoor classroom provides the ideal setting for hands-on learning by children about the environment. The standard Outdoor Classroom contains:

  • 3 park benches
  •  A large low-level nature table
  • 1 large outdoor blackboard
  • 1 bird  box with birdcam
  • 1 bug hibernation box.

It will seat an average sized class. They can be tailored to suit your individual school's needs.
