Hedgelaying

Another traditional skill not practised as often in Ireland anymore due to the invention of hedge trimming machinery and post and wire fencing.

The process of hedgelaying is less damaging to plants in your hedge and good for stockproofing gappy hedges. Contact us for a site visit and quote.

Andy Booth is currently Chairman of and a certified hedgelayer of the Hedgelaying Association of Ireland (HLAI).

Training in hedgelaying:

The best time for hedgelaying is autumn and winter. Group week end training can be arranged with Conservation Services for groups of up to 6 people.

More info on hedgelaying

HLAI have a wonderful website full of pictures and information. Visit it at www.hedgelaying.ie
