Marram Grass Planting

Marram grass plays a very important role as a pioneer species in sand dune re-vegetation. Its ability to establish itself quickly on the dune and colonise makes it an essential tool in dune rehabilitation.

Nursery stock of marram grass is not common so it's best to find a local population to harvest and transplant to the affected area.
